- Emotional Intelligence as measured by the EQ-i is highly predictive of sales success. The EQ-i was recently administered to over 1000 sales personnel of a large U.S. based international organization. These persons were based in every state in the U.S. and in Japan, England, & Germany. The question was: are there any differences in the EQ scores of "successful" salespersons as compared to those less than "successful"?

This is one of the key findings made by Multi-Health Systems Inc. in its study of the emotional intelligence of 3,831 individuals who were recently tested throughout the United States and Canada.

It has scientifically demonstrated that EQ is actually more important in predicting success in the workplace than IQ.
