Strategic Planning

Strategic planning is a process that can be used to help "aim" organizations towards achieving a set of goals. One of its powerful results is the ability to align the goals and objectives of each work unit, and each employee with those of the larger organization. Also, when the process is done properly, it can be used to identify barriers to goal achievement, identify resources needed to meet goals, and guide decision-making. This section contains three areas: 1) Full articles on strategic planning; 2) Short hints and tips, and 3) Resources to help guide the strategic planning process.
